Why don't we talk about road trip for a bit. I did mention how I loved the ski trip I took to Lake Tahoe in my earlier post. So, you know how much I love roadtrip! I simply love how road trip sets one's mind free! The junk food, the land, the road ahead of you, pulling up to a gas station talking to the local folks. It's exhilarating! The first road trip I partook was around '85 moving from L.A. to Houston. Early days in The States were rough. A few families had to squeeze into a rented condo. Life slowly got better as years went by. One thing that stuck with me was how I enjoyed taking roadtrips regardless how ｍessy we look. In the beginning, road trip is meant to move from one place to another; I could be missing a few here, but I moved no less than 15 times during the 20 some years in The States! Later on, luckily road trip became shopping trips to outlets and trips to see grandpa.

From Houston, we went North to Sapulpa, Oklahoma and then returned to The Sunshine State. Good old Dodge caravan carried us around; loaded with suitcases, leveled off on the top, with me and my sister taking term laying on our belly rocking our way the whole way through on Interstates, I was ashamed of it at the time, walking out of the car at rest exits but now I tresure it. Life's journey wouldn't be complete without these roadtrips.

Taipei to Tainan are like L.A. to Vegas. Taiwan highway rides are amazingly smooth these days, easy on the suspension. My GLA has stock tire/rim at 215/60R17. Not the best aspect ratio aesthetically speaking, but good balance on performance and ride. Though Taiwan highway doesn't surprise one with potholes like it used to, aspect ratio of 50 will get your rim chipped and scratched in no time. Plus, GLA is a family car, which means car will be driven by both me, the Dad and the Mom. Patty get manipulated by passenger driver, me, occassionally, but often than not she handles the streets quite well. GLA has high ground clearance and it isn't a big SUV, it is still quite challenging for female driver to park it curbside on Taipei street. So, nothing is perfect, I bought GLA for comfort and safety and its beautifully sculpted lines, which is perfect for tackling roadtrips.

And I would like to take this opportunity to welcome a new member joining the family. Everyone says hello to Mabel! Yes, she is 12days old now. Born 01:59am on Sep 1st. Thank you Mabel for picking date and time that are hard to forget, you are making remembering your birthday each year an easy task~ And you betcha big belly that I will be taking her on many many roadtrips. Spring time is perfect for her 1st outbound trip. Where to? Of course, we start with short haul flight, Okinawa will be perfect. And guess what, we will have more roadtrips there!

排不出時間出國，請不到假，無論妳的理由是什麼，無法出國的理由千百種，千方百計費盡心思阻撓著旅程

不能常出國，就得想辦法囉，台灣為了拚觀光，好的飯店、商旅、Airbnb 林立，跑跑附設餐廳其實是不錯的，稍微能夠搔到癢處～

找個好角落，捕捉好光影，想想之前出國去了哪，記憶交錯，不難讓自己覺得恍如置身世界某個地方，一種不能出國的出國~

Port 大廳看來就讓人芳心/龍心大悅想要下榻住看看，大廳室內空間很開放，四面採光

逛了逛部落客遊記，各房型屬中規中矩，因為是舊宿舍改建，窗戶都不大，採光略遜

好的學校有壞學生，壞的學校當然也有好學生，保守的空間設計和狹小坪數，卻不能缺好光線

大廳、四周環境、附設餐廳茶米很是喜歡，獨獨房間不是那麼吸引茶米

這裡強項是鬧中取靜，離鬧區近，卻不吵，看官們自當有所選擇囉

懷孕後期，嘉義/台南行之後，跑了趟新竹，就不敢跑遠了

朋友結束例行美國行，就約在離好友家不遠處的 Port23 聚聚

帶回來的媽媽包好大一個呀，辛苦了，被託付拖帶真的是件苦差事

刻意跑遍北中部婦幼店，不少媽媽包可以選，但多半實用卻過不了米琪外型這一關，遍尋不到好看的媽媽包，只好到國外挑選

不過，米琪再怎樣天天相處眼光越來越接近，卻還是會有意見想左的時候，好比茶米最後看中德國的 LASSIG，卻被琪姊打槍...

也還好三不五時琪姊把關，現在手上兩個媽媽包就不是那種用沒多久自己會嫌棄的

網路下單，運送地址填朋友美國家，逛華山時不經意看到不錯的編織托特包 + 收納袋，馬上下手，兩個替換著用

畫廊般的大廳，非常適合放上大型藝術品，非正常比例物件，有一種離開現實生活，置身仙境童話的感覺

近年來，手搖飲品也必須走精緻路線，除了價格可以接受，還必須玩杯子、玩調色、原型食材、冷榨

套餐附湯、麵包、沙拉

茶米是能不吃沙拉就不吃，沙拉看似健康，淋上了沙拉醬，菜葉沒洗乾淨，這沙拉是否健康得打上一個大問號

但同桌有誰有附沙拉，吃不完的，茶米卻是很樂意塞進肚裡，不浪費

酸菜燉飯附德國香腸及燉豬肉角 Risotto with Sauerkraut, Bratwurst Sausage, Pork Knuckle and Cream Sauce NT360

熱狗、香腸類茶米愛不釋手，常常不自覺的手上拿著一支熱狗走出超商 XD

再怎樣喜歡，但隨著自己對體內環保意識高漲，它也逐漸被列入看管名單中

但自己不點，同桌有誰點了，茶米是不會放過要咬上它一口的

基本上熱狗要難吃太難，部隊鍋小熱狗、港式撈麵餐肉，隔夜涼掉的熱狗，放在BBQ烤架上餐風露宿的香腸，通通愛啦 XD

port 23 的當然也很 ok~ 燉飯表現不俗，豬腳不是茶米喜歡的那種滷得很透很夠味的

園麵佐香料雞肉牛肝菌野菇醬汁 Spaghetti with Mixed Herbs, Chicken, Mushrooms and Porcini Sauce NT380

朋友點的，雞肉也是很難出錯的一道，最近新加坡行，看到 Todai Buffet，眼淚馬上眼中打轉啊

然後第一個印入眼簾的就是 Terriyaki Chicken

聽說關了蠻多間，官網看了還真不假，說美國境內據點都在內部裝潢，2017 年底重新開張

一定要重新回歸啊，回美國的話肯定想要吃它一回

這4顆星很多成分是用餐環境，waiter 服務，餐點的話也是不差

富邦跟忠泰一樣都是非常投入推動文化藝術

富邦旅管預計5年內還會拓點多處，考慮的有信義區、北投、遼寧街、林森南等地區

房市不振，住屋改商辦再改商旅，但改了商旅也是要來台旅客人數增加配合

世大運、各大展覽偶而能夠衝刺一下住房率，但好比辦公大樓附近餐廳，做中午人潮，下班後跟例假日就都在晾衣服

但富邦也不差這一個項目，相信光是集團內住房需求就很高，能夠消耗淡季空房

大集團能夠顧及投資報酬之外還能顧到人文已經是大心

port 23 附近推貳房苑、CUPETIT (預計彌月禮盒就會送CUPETIT)

停車隔壁瑞安街有不少路邊，有瞄到一間老屋翻新的 Wine Cafe，如其名是三五好友相約吃餐下酒的去處

米寶的到來讓茶米還真的沒有任何往外跑的衝動，也不知道月子中心結束回家後下次跟朋友餐聚小酌一下會是哪時

Wine Cafe 和各個最近超有特色的 bar 就隨緣吧~
