It's traumatic to hear someone we hold dearly has contracted cancer of some kind. This is exactly what happened within only months' time. Two much saddened news arrived. A very charming South Africa sales agent, though in his 70's but was going very strong, has just recently passed away from cancer. Time from doctor disclosure to his passing was within a month's time. And another energetic client has just recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

I know it's bewildering. Isn't it? I mean one second you seem to be winning the game, second later you derail and your whole life is off the track.

Life isn't fair. One works hard keep climbing that ladder trying to reach the top. Most never get there, loses direction and grows ever cynical. Some do get there, never got to enjoy their success, traded health for their success. And is that why I went and got myself a full checkup? Yes, most certainly, I don't know how I got to this point in my life knowing so little about my own health, but I need to know a whole lot more in order to face all the challenges I have ahead of me.

These terrible news made me mad but also, made it clear to me life isn't always what you expected. You really need to live everyday as if it is your last. I could only hope before my dying day comes I had already fulfilled a few of life's goals and those are enough for people to remember me by.

I wholeheartedly do wish my client a quick recovery. Those who worked so hard to earn their place deserve to enjoy the sweetness of their success.

Ending on a good note, everyone go listen to Bryan McKnight's new album Genesis. It's not his best, could actually be his worst, some tracks felt hastily written, arranged and rushed out. "Forever" is the one aiming for the chart, but only R&B chart it will have mild success, pop chart it's his no more. "Die for your love," to me, is the best track on the album, one that echoes his past work, one with live instruments and that jazzy vibe. B Knight had switched it up in the past with iFUrReadyToLearn with verse like "let me show you how your pussy works" which shocked fans. And he is doing it again now with Genesis. Genesis is definitely far too commercial sounding compared to his 2016 album Better. Talking about his commercial sound, then tracks on his album Ten would make your ear hit the G spot, the one you can romance with and also bounce your head to. Genesis sounded low budget and too monotonic. I certainly hope this isn't the path B Knight is going down. The man can do way better than this. And the man deserves a Grammy, can't believe he's never gotten a Grammy before! But if he continues with Genesis stuff, he will never get the Grammy.
