Are you in love with hot pot?

Then all you hot pot loving folks will jump for joy.

Golden Hot Pot has just landed.

One thing people in Taiwan surely loves to do is gathering around a pot like campers around bonfire or bums around barrel fire

in any case, the act of surrounding an object, may that be a fireplace, a barrel or a pot, symbolizes unity, togetherness and TLC.

While smart phones and big screen TVs had changed the way we share our moments at home

something like taking thin-sliced meat and quickly dipping in the simmering pot will never change.

From Mongolian to Sichuan to pickled cabbage pork slices to Shabu Shabu to Sukiyaki, there are numerous ways to cook up a pot.

The Way Golden Hot Pot prepares a pot is by using kelp soup base and Le Creuset enameled cast iron Cocotte.

I noticed there was much less foaming layer on top and veggies stayed green much longer.

The soup base did get thicker but not muddy.

No need to scoop up foam layer into a bowl makes the table much neater and the experience less distasteful.

金鍋用餐區分兩廳,一邊VIP包廂可容納10位,一邊約莫可以坐上30人

這次用餐試營運期間,在VIP包廂用餐,之後還造訪了兩次

這裡出發點就是要吃的精緻,吃鍋物不一定是桌上擺滿盤子一堆沾醬亂糟糟

吃完也不要怕味道跟著衣服、頭髮帶去下一攤

鍋有很多吃法,天香回味、酸菜白肉,各派麻辣、壽喜燒、涮涮鍋,看季節、時令、氣候吃

金鍋這裡就是給大家一個清爽,吃多了都會撐,那是好吃,是滿足的飽足,不是負擔

米琪愛吃的少不了拉麵、居酒屋、鍋物、韓式燒烤

鍋物到處都是,米琪吃過的也不算少數,最近常光顧的就是麻凡、金鍋

雖說主人都是摯友,但不好吃再怎樣熟捧一次場就不會再出現的

麻凡、金鍋主人各有各的門道,都吃的出新鮮吃得出用心

這裡最出色的就是青菜在鑄鐵鍋裡熬煮久了顏色仍然亮綠,這是鑄鐵鍋的特性

當然也是因為湯底只有昆布沒有鍋底

這裡有跟酒商配合,藏酒也不少

這裡營業到 23:50,不過音量放低記得敦親睦鄰,營業時間是沒有在管的啦

事實上已經滿分,但總要有進步空間才有動力

半顆星留給愛完美的老闆繼續追求完美。

主人也是好哥兒們,豪爽、海派、好客,善談

來這多半都會碰到熟識,挺愛這種不約就可以照上面的會所

這裡無論佈置、食材、服務都令人感到舒服自在
